Madison Sneve – President
Madison is a senior at duPont Manual High School. She is deeply interested in research and spends much of her time at the University of Louisville, conducting original neurobiological research regarding sensory neuron populations. She also engages her scientific interest through Science Olympiad, and she is a senior officer for her school’s Science Olympiad team. Aside from math and science, she finds enjoyment in the Classics, and she is the 1st Vice President of the Kentucky chapter of the Junior Classical League. She has represented Kentucky at the 2017 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), where she won first place in the Cellular and Molecular Biology category, as well as the Science Olympiad National Tournament. She founded STEMinar in order to make scientific research an approachable, understandable, and achievable endeavor for all students. In her free time, Madison enjoys reading, taking her dogs for walks, playing the piano, and tending her succulent garden.
Anjali Chadha – Co-Vice President
Anjali is a senior at duPont Manual High School. In addition to her work with STEMinar, Anjali has been enlisted in numerous leadership roles at her school and has competed (and won many awards) in Science Olympiad her freshmen year. Anjali also constructed a low-cost arsenic sensor, which allowed her to represent Kentucky at the 2017 International Science and Engineering Fair and win many other science fairs. In her free time, Anjali likes to dance, listen to music, and hang out with friends.
Ishaan Jindal – Director of Events
Ishaan is a senior in the MST program at duPont Manual High School. He conducts cardiovascular and stem cell research at the University of Louisville and has won multiple prizes for his work. He is on Manual’s Math team and Science Olympiad team. Aside from math and science, Ishaan started a Ping Pong program at Manual and is on the varsity golf team. In his free time, Ishaan enjoys going to the gym, reading about companies, and volunteering for local organizations.
Minh Tran – Director of Marketing
Minh is a senior at duPont Manual High School. He serves as the District Historian for the Kentucky-Tennessee District of Key Club International. Minh has performed environmental cardiology research at the University of Louisville, Diabetes and Obesity Center for the last two years. Minh is a Program Manager for STEMY Academy and is a Director in Training at STEM+Youth, a student-run non-profit. In his free time, he loves performing symphonic music with his various orchestras including KMEA All State Orchestra and the Louisville Youth Orchestra.
